    I hadn’t encountered the phrase “hyperlocals” before I read this post. Would sites such as boards.ie and dublin.ie count or is specifically a newspaper term?

    Facebook is big, google is bigger. They’re just more subtle about how much power they could wield. They have massive amounts of information on most web users and could use it for any number of purposes. Luckily, they don’t seem to be too pushed about doing so right now.
